2018-19 School Budget Vote Results

2018-19 School Budget Vote Results
Posted on 05/16/2018
We would like to thank the community members who voted for our 2018-19 school budget.  We were pleased with the overwhelming turnout of voters in attendance, as we can now accurately gauge what the community feels about the proposed budget.

Our Budget was defeated with 102 votes yes and 154 no. Knowing this, the school board will gather to discuss the issue at hand and decide whether to make budget cuts, and ask community members to vote again in June, or go directly to our contingency budget.
The Proposition II to elect Board of Education members at large was passed with 179 yes and 68 no.

Board member: 5 year seat - Christopher Miles with 217 votes
Board member: 5 year seat - write in James Donahue with 8 write in votes
Board member: 3 year seat - write in tie - James Swanson 6 write in votes and Daniel Boucher with 6 write in votes
Board member: 48 day seat - write in - Jennifer Holden with 3 write in votes.

Thank you again to all who came out to vote. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to keep the best interest of students and staff as our priority when considering our decision.
