Mystery Science ProgramThe kids are LOVING the new Mystery Science program.  We started with the first unit....the Power of Flowers and have completed Mystery 1. In this Mystery students learn how and why flowers are pollinated. In the activity students create a model of a flower and learn how bees pollinate flowers.  Many of us were surprised to learn that flowers can't pollinate themselves.  In fact...they need the pollen from a different flower to make a seed pod grow.  We were busy "bees" and put this idea to the test.
